Цифровой коммутатор, обеспечивающий переключение и маршрутизацию линий T1 и/или E1, на уровне отдельных временных интервалов (DS-0 - 64 Кбит/с). Кроссконнектор действует как обычный коммутатор, выполняя ряд дополнительных функций.
